Gene markers of dietary macronutrient composition and growth in the skeletal muscle of gilthead sea bream (Sparus aurata)

To increase our current knowledge on the nutritional regulation of growth and gene expression pattern in fish skeletal muscle, effect dietary macronutrient composition was assessed digestibility, nutrient retention, performance, mRNA levels key genes involved functionality, development muscle gilthead sea bream (Sparus aurata). Long-term starvation decreased myogenic regulatory factors such as Myod2, Myf5, myogenin (Myog) Myf6 S. aurata. The supply high or medium protein, low carbohydrate diets enhanced parameters, feed efficiency ratio, conversion ratio significantly upregulated myod2. However, restricted stimulated myostatin, while downregulated follistatin (fst), igf1, mtor rps6. Microarray analysis revealed igfals, tnni2, gadd45a markers by enriched with lipids carbohydrates, respectively. results present study show that addition to myod2, fst, rps6, tnni2 remarkably can be used evaluate changes
